Dr. Patricia Saravia is a board certified family medicine physician in San Antonio, Texas.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr Saravia, has a passion to provide excellent care in her community.
After completing her mechanical engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin she entered The Georgia Institute of Technology to study Biomedical Engineering.
It was during her time there that she fell in love with immunology and the amazing way in which our bodies function.
She left the world of engineering and attended A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete her medical degree. In continuing with her northward migration she completed residency training with NYU Lagone Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn.
After experiencing many cold, snowy winters she then decided to return home!
Dr. Saravia worked for a large outpatient clinic in the traditional, insurance based environment for several years and felt she could provide a better experience and higher level of care by leaving the burden of insurance.
She has a particular interest in women’s health and geriatric care but enjoys the variety of family medicine care.
When she is not in the clinic she enjoys brewing beer with her husband, checking out the local culinary scene, walks in her neighborhood with her children, and tackling her ever-present tower of fiction/science books.
